Green Beans Almondine is the kind of side dish that feels elegant without being complicated—fresh green beans cooked until perfectly tender, tossed with toasted almonds, fragrant garlic, butter, and a squeeze of bright lemon. Simple, classic, and beautifully French-inspired, it's a dish that fits right in on any holiday table but comes together quickly enough for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 2–3 Tbsp butter or olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and black pepper, to taste

Directions
Step 1 — Steam the Green Beans
Fill the base of your Sunhouse Steamer Pot with water and bring to a boil.
Add trimmed green beans to the steamer insert, cover, and steam for 4–6 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender.
Set aside.
Step 2 — Toast the Almonds
Place the Sunhouse Titanium Frying Pan over medium heat.
Add sliced almonds to the dry pan and toast, stirring often, for 2–3 minutes until golden and fragrant.
Transfer to a small bowl and set aside.
Step 3 — Sauté the Garlic
In the same pan, melt the butter (or warm the olive oil) over medium heat.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
Step 4 — Combine Everything
Add the steamed green beans to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
Stir in the lemon zest, lemon juice, toasted almonds, salt, and black pepper.
Cook for 2–3 additional minutes to warm everything through.
Step 5 — Serve
Transfer to a serving platter and finish with a little extra lemon zest or a few more toasted almonds, if you like.
